Every build has a story, and Bobby’s dream garage in Utah is one of our favorites. Designed around his love of classic cars, motorcycles, and off-road toys, this space shows what’s possible in the Mountain West—where garages aren’t just storage; they’re part of the lifestyle.
We teamed up with Bobby to build the shell, and he took it from there—finishing the interior himself with a whole lot of intention. From day one, he had a clear vision: design the shell in a way that would support everything he had planned for inside.
The 30’ x 40’ x 16’ post-frame build gave Bobby a solid foundation with all the right features to bring his vision to life. We built the shell to match his layout—leaving room for him to add electrical, HVAC, and plumbing for his car detailing station and a built-in vacuum system after the structure was complete. With plenty of space carved out for his classic cars, motorcycles, off-road toys, boat, and more, it’s everything he wanted under one roof.
The same clean, custom feel carries through to the outside. With a 16’ x 40’ open lean-to and a 12’ x 45’ lean-to—25 feet of which is enclosed—Bobby has dedicated space for storage, including his boat. A 5’ x 7’ porch rounds things out with a warm and thoughtful architectural feature. The Arctic White and Charcoal Gray combo keeps it crisp and clean, and the wainscot, flying gable, 12” overhangs, and gutters tie it all together in addition to matching the color scheme of his house. The 18’ x 14’ overhead door offers easy access, while six strategically placed windows fill the space with natural light.
